About Us

With over 30 years of experience, we are skilled in virtually every aspect of shoe care and restoration. We started in Saint Mary's County, Maryland in 1974, as a hobby/part-time business. Tauer & Johnson Shoe Dealer
After gradually building-up a local clientele, the first store was opened in Charlotte Hall, Maryland in 1981. Later, in an effort to expand our facilities, the store relocated in Waldorf on Route 301 near the old Stardust Inn.
